Nicole Galli, Esq. Women Owned Law

I recently had the pleasure of conducting what I hope with be the first of many interviews with experts, legal innovators and other interesting folks in the legal field with  Nicole Galli, an intellectual property litigator and trade secrets lawyer who is also the founder and President of Women Owned Law (WOL), a network for women-owned law and legal services firms.

Nicole and I talked about a number of topics, including networking, challenges facing women lawyers today, why and how she started WOL, and how WOL can help women lawyers and other women in the legal industry. We also chat a bit about grit and resilience.

I'm planning to do a series of these interviews and eventually turn it into a full-fledged podcast, but for now, click below to play the interview:

As noted on their site,

WOL is a national organization for women owned law and legal services firms to provide a forum for networking opportunities; to increase visibility and media coverage of women entrepreneurs; to help interested firms grow into larger organizations with significant influence in the legal industry; and to provide an “on ramp” for women considering their own legal ventures.

WOL offers several different types of memberships for individuals, law firms, and other organizations in the legal space. Learn more about WOL here.
